WEST BOYLSTON — On
Friday, March 7, at 7 p.m., the public is invited to a bicentennial
program at Major Edwards Elementary School. The program will begin
with the performance of “Our Town, Our World,” by 27 fourth- and
fifth-graders, led by Sally Holden, who will sing about pride in our
community. Each student will also portray a person important in town
history.
Each historical personality portrayed will emphasize that the
present generation has a responsibility to keep the town going. The
performance will end with students from 2208 coming back in time to
see the kids today.
After the play there will be a formal reading of the proclamation
noting the incorporation of the town on March 7, 1808.
Time is running out! Get your tickets to March 9 Bicentennial Brunch
