WEST BOYLSTON — The West Boylston Bicentennial Committee recently
sponsored performances by quartets from the Worcester Men of Song,
local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, for West Boylston
seniors.
On Valentine’s Day, the “Center City Four” performed at the Oakdale
Nursing recreation hall with their blended voices in song and
quick-witted antics.
The following day’s event was held at Briarwood Assisted Living
Center, where residents were entertained by the “Four Get Me Notes”
quartet.
Many in the audience joined in the singing and both quartets handed
out red carnations to members of the audiences in honor of the
Valentine’s Day.
