Two bare bears have been spotted in
Oakdale. Will someone please provide them with some clothes before
they get arrested for indecent exposure?
The two plush bears were donated to the Bicentennial Committee by
Alice Ohristo, to be used in whatever way the committee deemed
appropriate. Their time has come. We would like to raffle them off
on June 7 in conjunction with the West Boylston 5K Run/Walk.
In keeping with the bicentennial theme and striving to be
hysterically, if not historically, accurate we would like to present
the bears as “Ezra and Mary Bearman.”
To do this, the bears need to have the appropriate clothing. If you
make doll clothes or have done bears in the past, please consider
sparing these poor bears any further embarrassment by volunteering
to make them period outfits. Call Bonnie Fancy (508) 835- 4018, if
