The program will begin with the performance of “Our Town, Our World” by 27 fourth and fifth graders,
led by Sally Holden, who will sing about pride in our community. Each student will also portray
a person important in town history. Each person portrayed will emphasize that the present
generation has a responsibility to keep the town going. The performance will end with kids
from 2208 coming back in time to see the kids of today.

After the play there will be a formal reading of the proclamation noting the incorporation of the town
on March 7, 1808.

Earlier in the day, at 1:30; there will be a performance of the play for the school children only.
All the fourth and fifth graders will take part in the chorus while the 27 member core group p
erforms their roles.
